Here is a preview of a more in-depth report on the Exatron Stringy Floppy Pictures The stingy floppy was introduced in April 1979 at the Computer Faire in San Francisco USA. The order form for the purchase of a stringy floppy includes a field to select the drive software for either the TRS 80, SWTP or S-100. I have a typed copy of the s-100 assembler, but it's for the Cromeco. The "nose" protrudes 1/2 inch from the drive.
