I came upon a MAC Plus 1MB that when powered on starts to smoke. Took the system apart and found that it had a bad monitor. The connector from the power supply to the monitor had a burn rupture. The monitor itself seems to be disfunctional. I replaced the power supply board, and although I get the happy beep, nothing appears on the monitor. I did not pay for any of this so no harm trying.
